John Donegan & Co Limited is the data controller for this website. Company number 17327345. Registered office: 16 Burleigh Court, Cavendish Place, Brighton, BN1 2HR. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC227698.

What I collect and why

When you send an enquiry through the contact form, I collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the topic you choose and your message. I use this to reply to you and, if you become a client, to set up your engagement. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking steps before entering a contract with you.

If you email or call me directly, I keep the details you give me for the same purpose.

This website does not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers. It sets no cookies of its own.

Who I share it with

Enquiries sent through the contact form are delivered to me by Resend, which processes the message on my behalf. My own email is provided by Microsoft, through Outlook. The site is hosted by Vercel. None of them use your details for their own purposes.

I do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires me to.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to any work are deleted within twelve months. If you become a client, your records are kept for as long as my professional and legal obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will respond within one month. If you are not happy with my response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
